Hartis Grove Day School is ...

Is a Christ centered three star rated preschool. We opened our doors to higher learning education in 1981. Founded by Mr. Glynn Horne and Mrs. Rachel Horne.  Unlike other preschools in the area. Hartis Grove has been a family oriented child care facility since the beginning. Unlike “incooperated preschools” that tend to have multiple owners, directors, and a high teacher turnover. Hartis Grove owners and the director Glenda Horne Lovingood have been here from the beginning.  We have a curriculum that has worked for over 30 years. Children that have grown up here are now returning with their own children for us to educate and love.  We serve a hot homemade lunch daily from our kitchen, which is balanced to meet the USDA standards.  With fresh vegetables and fruit served daily. We are dedicated to helping your child grow at his/her own pace by building self confidence, esteem, strengths and skills. We believe that this center should be an extension of your home. We also believe, above all things, that our main responsibility is to provide a nurturing environment. That in which children feel the security to express themselves openly and interact positively with the staff and other children, who are also part of the Hartis Grove family.
